Tasmin Marie Brindley

Designer & Scenic Prop Maker

I mainly specialises in large scenic props, however my skills aren’t limited solely to this. In the past I have created costumes, sets, set boxes, prosthetics, and small props for both theatre and film. During my time at university I have expanded my skills dramatically; learning how to sculpt, mould and cast various pieces in a variety of materials, to distress fabrics, to create structurally sound pieces and to build quality pieces within a low budget.
In my spare time I enjoys creating costumes and props for aerial performances and cosplay. While studying at university I founded and acted as President of the Pole Fitness Club for two consecutive academic years; and was the Student Experience Officer for one year.
In the long term, I am keen to join a prop company to progress and develop within the industry; eventually I would like to be able to become solely freelance to allow myself to inject my own creativity into projects.

Strengths
I'm experienced in leading my own team and am not afraid to be the “bad guy” in order to get work done. I'm very passionate about my work and enjoy the creative process; especially construction and scenic painting.
